1. Introduction

Welcome to AIB Off Grid, LLC’s website. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the purchase of our products. By accessing this website and purchasing from AIB Off Grid, LLC, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

2. Definitions

  • “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to AIB Off Grid, LLC.
  • “You,” “Your,” refers to the user or customer accessing our website and purchasing our products.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to purchase products from our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. Product Information

All product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are error-free.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices listed on our website are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes. Taxes will be added to your invoice based on what state you are having the product delivered to. 
  • Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept the following payment methods: Cash, Personal Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, Domestic Bank Transfer (Wire). After placing your order, you will receive an invoice with payment instructions. We don’t accept credit cards as this time. 
  • AIB Off Grid, LLC reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

6. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery Areas: We currently include free delivery only to customers in Missouri (MO), Arkansas (AR), Oklahoma (OK), and Kansas (KS). Set-up and training of the system are included with every purchase, and we offer free delivery within these states.
  • Custom Delivery Quotes: If you are not located in these states, please contact us for a custom delivery quote before placing an order.
  • Delivery Time: Delivery times depend on the order. We will contact you within 24 hours of your purchase to provide an estimated delivery date. Once we begin building your system (within 2 weeks), we will contact you to schedule our in-person delivery, set-up and training.  Most orders are delivered and set-up within 4 weeks, but delivery can range from 2 to 6 weeks depending on your solar system. For off-the-shelf solar systems in already in stock, delivery typically takes 1-2 weeks as we personally deliver, set up, and train you on your new solar system.

7. Order Cancellations

  • Because our solar systems are built to order and custom-made, we do not offer cancellations or refunds. Once an order is placed, it is considered final.

8. Returns and Refunds

No Returns or Refunds: Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. However, we stand by the quality and performance of our systems and provide guarantees as outlined below.


5. Warranty and Support:

AIB Off Grid (“AIB Off Grid”) provides the following limited warranties for products and services purchased as part of this Agreement. These warranties are subject to the conditions and limitations outlined below.

  1. Product Warranties

AIB Off Grid warrants that the products sold under this Agreement will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service, subject to the following terms:

  • Battery Cells: A limited warranty of ten (10) years from the date of purchase. AIB Off Grid will, at its discretion, repair or replace any inverter or battery cells found to be defective during this period.
  • Other Electronic Components: A limited warranty of five (5) years from the date of purchase. AIB Off Grid will, at its discretion, repair or replace any other electronic components found to be defective during this period.
  • Jinko Solar Panels Warranty: Jinko Solar Panels (Model: JKM600-625N-66HL4M-BDV) are covered under the JinkoSolar Manufacturer’s Warranty, which is administered by JinkoSolar but facilitated by AIB Off Grid for the convenience of the Customer. The warranty terms are as follows:
    • Product Warranty: 12 years from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
    • Linear Power Warranty: 30 years from the date of purchase, guaranteeing:
    • First-Year Degradation: Maximum degradation of 1% (99% power output retained after the first year).
    • Annual Degradation: Maximum annual degradation of 0.4% from years 2 to 30, ensuring at least 87.4% of nominal power output after 30 years.
    • Warranty Administration: AIB Off Grid will handle all warranty claims for Jinko Solar Panels on behalf of the Customer. AIB Off Grid will coordinate with JinkoSolar to facilitate repairs, replacements, or other remedies as per the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Service Warranty

AIB Off Grid provides a one (1) year full service warranty from the date of installation.

  • If customer resides outside the 60-mile AIB Service area, a travel fee, paid by the customer, is due prior to service. Depending on distance, travel fee covers airfare, car rental, gas, hotel stays, and meals for the technician. Please refer to your purchase agreement for details on travel fee. 
  • After the initial one-year service warranty period, the Customer may opt to purchase an annual preventative maintenance plan.

3. Warranty Conditions and Exclusions

The warranties provided herein are subject to the following conditions and exclusions:

  • Temperature Control: Warranties are void if the components are not stored and operated in temperature-controlled environments as specified by the component manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Authorized Service: Warranties are void if the solar system is serviced, repaired, or modified by anyone other than AIB Off Grid or its authorized representatives.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Warranties are void if any third-party Bluetooth or software integrations (e.g., Home Assistant, Solar Assistant, or similar programs) are connected to the system, whether by wire or wireless connection, as these may alter the Battery Management System (BMS) or Inverter settings and cause malfunctions.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Warranties do not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper installation (unless performed by AIB Off Grid), or external factors such as accidents, fire, flood, or other acts of nature.
  • Transferability: Warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.


4. Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, the Customer must:

  • Notify AIB Off Grid within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect.
  • Provide details of the issue.
  • Allow AIB Off Grid reasonable access to inspect the product or system (including paying the service travel fee if residing outside the 60-mile service radius of AIB Off Grid).

AIB Off Grid will evaluate the claim and repair or replace the defective product or component. 

  1. Limitation of Liability

The warranties provided herein are the exclusive warranties offered by AIB Off Grid. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIB Off Grid disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. AIB Off Grid’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products or components and does not include incidental or consequential damages, such as loss of use, lost profits, or other indirect costs.
